Registration-Information for the two Research Events of the ICA 33rd World Cooperative Congress
[28-30 November 2021 – Hybrid format in Seoul, Republic of Korea]
The ICA 33rd World Cooperative Congress, a historic gathering of cooperators worldwide, will be organized in a hybrid format from 1-3 December 2021 in Seoul, Republic of Korea, on the theme “Deepening our Cooperative Identity”.
The Congress will be preceded by two preparatory research-based events – the ICA Cooperative Research Conference (Research Conference) and the 3rd International Forum on Cooperative Law (Law Forum) on 28-30 November 2021, to be organized with the aim to stimulate discussions during the Congress.
A Full-Registration for the Congress shall give you complete access to all events including the research conference and the law forum. We highly recommend this full-registration and urge you to participate in this historic event for cooperatives and cooperators worldwide. A Research-event-only Registration is applicable for those who wish to participate solely in the Research Conference and the Law Forum. This form of registration requires the interested participants to make a specific request to obtain a unique code in the following instructions below.

Presential (physical) Participation
EUR 250 for high-income countries
EUR 125 for middle*-income countries
Free of charge for low-income countries
Free of charge for the youth** researcher
Virtual Participation
EUR 75 for presenters from high-income countries
EUR 30 for presenters from middle*-income countries
Free of charge for presenters from low-income countries
Free of charge for the youth** presenters
Free of charge for the public
* Lower and Upper Middle income countries are treated alike.
** Persons of or under the age of 35 years.
Notes
Please check the 2020 World Development Indicators of the World Bank to know the classification of countries by income. The country of residence and employment or studies or university affiliation will be considered in determining participants’ countries.
Fees include a certificate of presentation at an international scientific conference.
Detailed instructions – Please read carefully
[Step 1] Presenters, as well as general attendees (public) who wish to attend solely the research events, have to request their unique codes by sending an email at research.congress@icaworldcoopcongress.coop with "Research-only Registration Request" in the subject line.
Please indicate the following in the body of the email:
Full name as in the passport
Age as of 30 November 2021
Country of residence/employment/studies
Affiliation (University/Institution)
Mode of participation – presential participation in Seoul or virtual participation.
[Step 2] The unique code along with the information about the applicable registration fee will be sent based on the information provided.
[Step 3] To proceed with the registration, participants must use the unique codes on the Congress registration platform HERE.
[Step 4] An invoice will be sent once the registration form is submitted by a participant and the process will be complete upon successful payment of the fee.
