"The co-operative sector needs to offer a genuine welcome to young people, inviting them to take a real part and to help them shape the future." - Blueprint for a Co-operative Decade
Just as young people are crucial to the future of the co-operative movement, young scholars are crucial to the future of co-operative research. With that in mind, the Committee on Co-operative Research (CCR) is actively involving emerging researchers in its work, from a special Young Scholars program launched at the 2014 Global Research Conference to support for a global network of emerging co-op researchers made up of students, practitioners and recent graduates.
The CCR recently began a LinkedIn group where young scholars can post announcements, discuss issues related to co-operative research, and get to know each other better. The group can be accessed at https://www.linkedin.com/groups/7039257
